This prototype keeps every coastline vertex attached to the globe and blends through an authored path of world projections. The named projections are snap points along the path.
Canvas renderer, Natural Earth-derived 1:50m country and land geometry, graticule, projection morphing, soft snap points, local distortion estimates, and a 2D projection ⇄ globe transition.
The geometry stays in longitude/latitude; the slider changes where those points land on the plane. The Globe button wraps the current flat state back onto the shared spherical reference.
